(( This takes place somewhere in the hallways. ))
Once again Mathias’ room failed to keep his attention. Who would’ve expected otherwise, there was nearly nothing to do in there, except the boring things with which you needed to lay still all the time. So he had hoisted himself in his wheel chair (without the help of a nurse even, because they probably wouldn’t have allowed it) and exited his room.
It sucked that he couldn’t spend the holidays at home. Of all times he could’ve broken his leg, he chose this one. So typical. At least things were decorated nicely around here. And that didn’t just mean the hallways of the hospital. Mathias had taken the liberty of covering his wheel chair with red and silver tinsel. He was wearing a Christmas hat as well. All that was missing was a reindeer, really. And the beard and all that fat, but if Mathias had to choose, he preferred to have a reindeer.
Okay, now to find someone who he could spend some time with. He could probably find other patients in the lounge or something. So he headed that way, but before he could reach the room, he found himself unable to move any further. Some of the tinsel had gotten caught between the wheels and refused to come loose. He tried to reach over to pull the string of tinsel away, but as he was required to keep his leg up, even if he twisted his body in the strangest way possible, he still couldn’t get to it.
“Crap.” He muttered, still trying to get loose.
