Looking For A Drink? [ Open~ ]

Heracles smiled as he walked into the bar, looking around for Lovino. He hadn't been here since...He couldn't even remember. Either he was dealing with patients at the hospital or dealing with his cats at home, but he had the night off and had already taken care of the cats so...

He smiled as he saw Lovino and walked over to him, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend and kissing his cheek. "Hello Lovi-mine. I hope you haven't been waiting long." He sat down and ordered a drink, shrugging off his jacket.

Heracles hummed, frowning. "Sorry Lovino." He didn't like the fact he couldn't show his affection in public. He was a touchy-feely kind of person, and having to keep to himself made him feel weird. He would try for Lovi though. He could understand why his boyfriend didn't want to be seen but...

He sighed and shook his head, deciding to let it go. He smiled as he got his drink and took a sip, shrugging. "I had to slip back home and take care of my cats first. Sorry." He said, putting his drink down. He fidgeted a little, looking around the bar.

He nodded, smiling a little bit. "Hm, sor-." He laughed, shaking his head. "Alright then Lovino, I'll stop apologizing." He sipped from his drink as silence ensued, looking over when Lovino spoke up in. He smiled, thinking back to his patients. "It was fine; one of the kids got discharged today. I'm going to miss him, but I'm happy that he's better. How were things with you?" He wondered, having not been able to sneak away to talk with Lovino. Things had been a bit hectic lately, and he wasn't left with a single free moment while at work.

Heracles chuckled, finding Lovino's complaint not amusing, but slightly entertaining. "If people didn't call you to fix their messes, then you probably wouldn't have a job Lovino." He pointed out, tilting his head to the side. "Though, if it's getting really bad you should tell one of the higher ups so they can take care of the complaints." He knocked back the rest of his drink and sighed in relief, enjoying the burn of it down his throat. It meant that the drink was a good quality one.

Heracles nodded, taking another sip of his drink and glancing over at the Italian. He laughed, rolling his eyes. "Yes, why would we want you to have a calm life? The very thought shocks me." He said, smiling a little. He raised an eyebrow when Lovino muttered something but he decided not to ask what he said, deciding that if Lovino wanted him to know he would have said it louder.

He downed the rest of his drink and put the cup down on the bar top, running his fingers through his hair. The...silence between the two of them was getting awkward in ways it hadn't been since their first few dates. "How are things with Feliciano?" He asked, looking over at Lovino. He hadn't spoken with the youngest Vargas yet but he knew that Lovino had to be worried about his brother.

Heracles watched Lovino, taking in the tense set of his shoulders. He ordered another drink, biting his lip slightly. He winced at the Italian's response to his question. Lovino sounded annoyed, and Heracles disliked annoying his boyfriend. "Lovi...is something wrong?" He asked, frowning at how lame that was. Obviously something was wrong. Heracles just...didn't know how to fix it.

He froze with his new drink pressed against his lips, a chill going straight down his spine. Lovino couldn't mean...He looked over at the Italian with wide eyes, putting his drink down slowly. "Lovi...But, why?" He asked, tightening his grip on his glass. This wasn't the first time he had been dumped, but it had never hurt like this before. He felt like he had just been punched in the stomach. He tried to stop the shaking of his hands, swallowing harshly.

He stared at Lovino, his stomach twisting painfully. He knocked back his drink and relished in the burn it produced, shaking his head. "Lovi-mi--" He paused, shaking his head. "Lovi...I love you. I love you so much. You're the right person for me; I don't know why you would say otherwise." He gulped, pinching himself in hopes that it was all a dream. "I want to put up with your shit; I want to be with you." He knew that dragging it out like this was just going to make it all hurt more but he didn't want to let go yet. He didn't want to be without Lovino.

Heracles shook his head, blinking rapidly. He wasn't going to cry; at least, not until he got home. "I, Lovi, I can't forget about you." He said, wrapping his arms around himself. He watched the Italian carefully, noticing the tears he was holding back. He watched him pay for his drinks and leave the bar before shuddering and letting his head hang. How, how had this happened? He didn't understand, they had been so happy...

He shook himself, paying for his drinks before following Lovino out of the bar. He stared at him, taking a deep breath before pulling him into a tight hug. "I don't want to let you go." He whispered, pressing a desperate kiss to Lovino's lips. "If, if this is what you really want Lovino I'll, I'll go along with this but...I will always love you." He kiss Lovino again, not caring about the tears running down his face.

He felt hope fly when Lovino kissed back, only to have it crash and burn when the Italian pushed him away. "I..." He trailed off, staring at his now ex-boyfriend before nodding and turning away from him, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Alright then Lovino I'll...see you around I guess." He shook his head and began the walk home, hunching in on himself.
