| Gilbert was really tired of laying around in bed all day. Sitting around and watching television might seem like a couch potato's dream come true, but the truth was...everything on television was boring after the first few hours. He needed human interaction and where else to get it but with a quick trip down to the patient's lounge. Surely there were to be some people of interest there, maybe even someone he could get to play a few pranks with him. That would be awesome.
Once he had made it to the lounge, he found the most interesting person in the room to be a small blonde haired girl setting up what looked like a tea party. She had to be one of the most adorable kids he had ever seen, he wished he had his camera so he could document her cuteness on his blog. 'Poor girl must be bored as hell with all these adults around,' he thought, walking over to her.
"Hey there, you look like you could use some help with that!"

| Spending most of the morning setting up her small teaset mamma had sent from home, Lili was using the delicate porcelain to make herself feel a little more at home. The patient lounge certainly wasn't boring or dreary but she felt that everyone would always brighten up at such a small and delicate affair. Pouring the water into the teapot and humming to herself slightly, she perked up at the sound of the voice.
Lili set the kettle down, straightening and tucking some hair behind her ear. The man appeared to be talking to her and his shocking head of grey hair and red eyes definitely set him apart from everyone else she had seen so far in this hospital. Straightening out her skirts a little, she held her hands in front of her, bowing her head.
"Hallo," she said quietly, smiling up at him, "and I do need s-someone to put the sandwiches out..." gesturing to a small plate and the pile of sandwiches beside it, "My name's Lili." it was added as an afterthought, quiet, of not much consequence.

| It was nice to finally be free! Or..as free as he could be for the time being. After a few days of fidgeting and whining in bed, it was finally decided that he could get up and stretch his legs for a brief period of time. They had been monitoring him for a few days now, and nothing had changed much from what was wrong when he was sent here. Maybe going and talking with some other people would calm him down for the rest of the day...so everyone hoped.
One of the nurses had told him about something that sounded nice. A place where lots of other people who were bored could go and do things that didn't involve being cooped up in a room all day. However, when Feliciano finally found the room, it was much different than he imagined. It wasn't very lively. Maybe it was because everyone was, well, sick. In the least, it was nice to be able to walk and make own decisions for himself.
Feliciano sat down on a nice looking chair looking around the room for something to do. Not much of anything caught his attention. There were people watching tv together, but that didn't seem too exciting. He would be happy to talk with people, but he had enough of tv from being in his room. Looking to the other side of the room, something did catch his attention. Were those...sandwiches? He tried not to stare but failed horribly.

| Gilbert smiled at the young girl's politeness. It was refreshing after the type of children he was used to in the city. Those brats were just so rude. He had gotten used to the staring, but the pointing and whispering was still irritating. No matter how many times he answered that his hair and eye colours were in fact natural, they never ceased to leave him alone.
He picked up the sandwiches and placed them carefully on the table, saying "It's nice to meet you Lili, I'm Gilbert. Gilbert Beilschmidt." He looked at the set up she had prepared and scanned the people in the room before asking, "Are you waiting for your friends to arrive?"

| Shaking her head and sitting down at the small table, Lili placed a small teacup at another chair for Gilbert. His accent was unmistakably German and it made her a bit more relaxed to find another person who might share her language. And he seemed rather nice despite his strange hair and striking eyes. "I was just setting up and hoped that someone would join... I thought my brother might be by but-"
She shrugged, pouring a cup, smiling at him softly. "Do you like sugar or lemon?" she asked, eyes glancing over the room, spotting the brunet staring at them and shifting awkwardly in her chair.

| Feliciano didn't like the word 'eavesdropping'. It sounded so bad to do. 'Listening without the other people knowing' sounded pretty harmless though. These were strangers, it wasn't like he would actually repeat anything he heard to anyone that would cause trouble....on purpose. He was starting to drift off into another conversation when something drew him back to the man with the funny white hair and the cute blond girl. Had that man just called himself Beilschmidt?
The conversation had his attention once more. Trying to sort through his brain, Feliciano was attempting to figure out why it was so familiar. Then it struck him. That was his doctor. The blonde one with the name he could never pronounce. He smiled, feeling rather proud of himself for making the connection. This was too much. He just had to find out now.
Both of them still looked pretty busy with their tea party and talking, but Feliciano didn't feel he was intruding. After all, a teaparty for two would be boring, in his opinion. "Ciao~" Making his presence known as he made his way over, he gave a little wave as he stood in front of them. "I don't mean to interrupt your tea party, bella, but I have a question for him." He gave her a smile before directing his attention to the man that he had heard was called Gilbert. Feliciano looked all too excited. "Did you say that your last name was" He paused for a moment, clearly stumbling a little over the last word. "B-b...beil..sch..midt?" The last name was butchered, but he was proud of himself. He'd learn to say that name..someday.

| Lili held her teacup close to her chest, watching the brunet carefully. He looked very young and friendly, almost reminding her of a complete opposite of her brother and when he spoke, with voice was almost playful and his accent practically was made of the warmth and sunshine of the south. She hoped that he'd come to her party.
"Yes," she replied for the Prussian since he seemed rather focused on other things, "He said Beilschmidt, a-and I'm Lili Zwingli, who are you?"

| Gilbert pretended to busy himself with something else when he heard a third person approach them. He had heard an Italian accented voice ask about his name, but his damn lungs took this as the perfect time to crap out on him. He had just gotten his breath back and was about to answer, when he heard Lili beat him too it. Instead he looked up curiously at their newest companion.
The first thing he noticed was the springy curl on the side the man's face. It was rather distracting and yet, somewhat familiar. Wasn't there a person who worked at the hospital with a similar feature? Maybe they were related. With a mental shrug, Gilbert tuned back into the conversation being held and chipped in, with a raspy "Ja--" before stopping to clear his throat for a second attempt.
"Ja, it's as the fräulein says. Have we met?"

| So he had heard right! As silly as it was, the fact that this person had the same last name as his doctor made Feliciano all too excited. "Me?" he asked, pointing to himself. "I'm Feliciano Vargas! I don't think we have met before, have we?" Since he had been stuck in his room, he very rarely encountered any other patients during his stay here so far, so perhaps it was a silly question in the first place. He looked between the two for a moment, trying to remember if he had seen their faces. When he came to Gilbert, he paused. Nothing about him looked too familiar, but this couldn't be a coincidence.
"Do you have a brother or umm..cousin or something that works here?" He tilted his head, waiting for an answer. The two didn't really look the same, but he still had to ask...
