No Alcohol, please. -complete-

...Why was he here again? Oh right, Heracles. Toris had taken his friend and fellow Pediatric Staff Member to a bar, trying to cheer him up. It sometimes seemed that the only way to cheer him up ever since Lovino left him was with alcohol. It was without a doubt that the outing would cheer Heracles up. Why didn't Toris take Heracles out earlier? Well, Toris didn't drink alcohol. He certainly did not want to be tempted to. But, after many days of hoping Heracles would soon get over it, and watching his hopes being crushed day after day, Toris finally decided to take him to a bar. Hopefully nothing would happen. Hopefully.

Heracles sighed, playing with his cup as he stared over to the area of the bar where Lovi had dumped him. Yes, the Italian had told him to forget him, but how could Heracles do that? Lovino had been the only person he dated that he could see himself living with for the rest of his life, whereas his various girlfriends and one other boyfriend had just been flings.

He sighed and sat up, downing his drink. Soon, the effects of it would take hold and soon he wouldn't be feeling as upset. Of course, he ignored the fact that in the morning he would be just as upset, just as much in pain as he had been before the alcohol, but for now he was going to concentrate on trying to fufill Lovi's orders.

He looked over at Toris, raising an eyebrow. "Why aren't you drinking?" He wondered, ready to order a drink for the doctor. Heracles wouldn't have dragged himself here if it wasn't for Toris, and Heracles most likely would have been getting drunk at home, alone, with only his cats for company. Thus, he was going to thank the doctor somehow.

"Huh? Oh! I...don't drink" Toris explained, somewhat sheepishly "So I can tell the kids that drinking doesn't mean you're an adult and all that stuff." Sometimes they got patients who said that their parents said that drinking made you an adult, or that they were looking forward to getting drunk because of what their friends said, or some other stupid reason.

Anyway, Toris heard hangovers sucked really bad, and he wouldn't be looking forward to coming into the office with one of those. So he didn't drink. "Don't concern yourself with whether I drink or not, just have a good time" He said kindly "After all, someone needs to drag your drunken self back to your place"

Heracles nodded, ordering another drink. It made sense...especially given some of the patients they got, like Eduard. The poor kid was already an alcoholic at 17...Heracles ignored the fact he had started drinking earlier than that, thanking the bartender.

He looked around the bar, frowning and pinching himself as he noticed things that reminded him of Lovino. He had to stop that! He was here to forget the pain, not sob himself into a drunken stupor. He took a sip of his drink, looking over at Toris again and ignoring everything around them. "How have things been in your life lately?" He actually felt a bit bad; he had been ignoring Toris in favor of moping over his own issues.

"Um...." Toris thought about this for a few moments "Well, I'm still single. That kind of sucks in itself. I've been working a lot, as per usual, and I found a book in Lithuanian at an old bookstore, which is really nice" He kind of laughed "I'm pretty boring, now that I think about it."

He flipped through the drink menu, looking at the brightly colored cocktails and mixes. It always kind of amazed him how they would turn so florescent that the drinks would seem to glow.

"Hm...doesn't sound boring; sounds normal. The less drama the better I think." He said, downing the rest of his drink. Heracles watched Toris flip through the drink menu, taking in the amazed look on his face. "Are you sure you don't want one? One drink isn't going to hurt." Besides, taxi cabs needed business too.

Toris shook his head "I don't know what would happen if I drank alcohol anyway..I really shouldn't" He continued flipping through the menu "I'm probably a lightweight too..."

Were there always so many exotic sounding names for Rum...Wine....Tequila, and all those other drinks? It truly sounded interesting, but besides the want to be a good role model, Toris was also rather afraid of drinking because, as he said before, he didn't know what it would do.

Heracles raised an eyebrow, tilting his head to the side as he thought. "Well...you'll never know until you try it." He said, ordering another drink, though this time one with a bit less alcohol. He hummed, thinking it over before smiling at Toris. "Why don't you get a virgin drink and go from there?"

"That's not a bad idea..." Toris said as he found the non-alcoholic section of the menu. Taking a few seconds to look it over, he ordered a Shirley Temple- lemon-lime soda mixed with cherry syrup. Soon enough, the bubbly mixture was in front of him, in an elegantly tall glass with a bit of fruit thrown in. "Don't count on me' drinking some alcoholic stuff tonight, though"

Heracles nodded, smiling at the bartender as he was given his drink and looking around the bar again. The thing about this place was, unless you came here with a group of friends or with the intention of getting blindingly drunk, it wasn't that exciting. In fact, it was probably one of the more boring places he knew of, beaten out only by the various classrooms he had been in over the years.

"You might have fun though Toris; why not try it?" He asked, wanting to see what the brunette was like drunk. That would probably be more entertaining than simply getting super drunk and having Toris drag him home. In fact.."If you get drunk I won't." He promised, giving Toris a slight smile. It would be odd, but one of them had to be sober and he was determined to make sure Toris was not the sober one.

Well....it would be a good idea to see how his body reacted. He'd have another reason not to drink if something really bad happened. And he'd be able to get all those people that liked to bug him for being an Alcohol Virgin off his back. That would definitely be nice, telling them he had indeed drank. Though it is only for informational purposes.

"...you better not get drunk" Toris relented "Even though you should, because this outing is so you can get drunk and feel better about Lovino" Looking back through the drink menu, he continued with a sigh "But if you insist, I'll try a cosmopolitian or some other drink."

Well, after this, he'd probably have several more reasons not to drink, at least.

Heracles flinched at the mention of Lovino, staring at his drink. He knew logically that Toris's statement was wrong; getting drunk wouldn't make him feel better about Lovino, it would just make him forget him for the night. and the temptation to do that was overwhelming but...He swapped their drinks, taking Toris's virgin drink and taking a sip.

"I promise not to get drunk Toris." He smiled at him, avoiding making a face at the taste of the drink. He had one before, with alcohol in it, and he decided after drinking this that it's definitely better with alcohol than without.

" ...God, you better. I certainly don't want to wake up in some random guy's bed" Toris mumbled as he summoned a good bit of courage to take a good long sip from the glass.

It was oddly delicious. The sweet syrup mixed with some other liquid- the alcohol, a hazy mind presumed. It tasted like danger, that James Bond stuff. Enticing, alluring, but oh-so-dangerous. It was proving how deadly it could be at the moment, in fact.

A few moments after the sip had been taken, it hit him incredibly hard. Yes, he was a lightweight Alcohol Virgin, what did you expect?

He felt a fuzziness at the back of his mind, that began to push all his inner thoughts closer to the brink of eruption.

One more sip, one more sip. Before he knew it, he had downed the whole glass, and felt rather out of it. A pink blush had settled on Toris's face, and he noticed that his higher brain functions weren't working very well...

...Now he was curious to see if Toris would actually wind up in some random guy's bed. Of course, Toris might just kill him for that so he couldn't. He watched Toris down his drink, smiling slightly at the slight blush on his face. He was slightly surprised to see that Toris was already drunk and he ordered a second, less alcoholic, drink for Toris.

"Drink it slower this time; it will stop the alcohol from effecting you as quickly." He said, taking another sip of his drink.

"M'kay, that'd be helpful..." Toris nodded as he accepted the drink from Heracles. He did as Heracles said, sip the drink slowly. "This is fun..." He commented, as a darker flush rose over his face from the added alcohol in his system. Before he knew it, the glass was empty once again. Toris merely stared at it, as if it would refill itself. When his hopes were dashed, he looked around for the bartender, intent on ordering another alcoholic beverage. This stuff was better than he thought it was.

Fun? Well, Heracles could see how, on his end, it was fun. He didn't see how it was fun for Toris. Then again, alcohol distorted how people viewed things so who knew what was going on in Toris's head. He gave Toris back the virgin drink, ordering a water for himself. He didn't want the doctor to pass out anytime soon, so hopefully mixing non-alcoholic drinks in with the alcohol would keep him conscious longer.

"Ah, thank you sir" Toris mumbled as he began to sip the drink. His alcohol muddled mind had forgotten that this was Toris's initial drink, and therefore non alcoholic. " This one is especially good" He commented " I really like it..." And Toris finished the Shirley Temple, thinking that that yummy cherry flavor in it was alcohol and not syrup. He turned to Hera after this, and asked him for an opinion of what to drink next.

Heracles smiled as he watched Toris drink, amused by the flush on his face. It was pretty cute...His eyes widened as this thought registered in his head and he looked away from Toris, wishing that he could drink something to push the thought away. He wasn't going to rebound onto Toris. Nu-uh, no way, not happening.

"Hm...." He ordered Toris another drink, handing it over to him. "That one's a fun one." He smirked, running a hand through his hair. "It's called Sex on the Beach." The drink was delicious. Sex on the beach was not. It was actually very unpleasent, especially with sand going in places it shouldn't be going in.

"Sex on the beach..." Toris repeated slowly as he accepted the drink. "It sounds fun.." He mused as he sipped the drink curiously. It was very sweet at first, but had a dark aftertaste. Toris assumed this was the 'sex' part of the drink, not the 'ocean '

Well, at least it lived up to it's name.

"You have good taste in drinks" He murmured as he drained the glass, disregarding  Heta's advice as a darker flush took over his features. He was too damn drunk to care. 

" M're pls...."

"The drink is fun; the actual act of sex on the beach is not." He admitted, taking a sip of his water. Or maybe they had just been doing it wrong...They probably should have used a blanket as something to rest on before having sex. But beyond the sand in places it should not have been, it was...enjoyable, on his end. Probably not on his girlfriend's end though...Come to think of it, she had dumped him shortly after that.

"Hm, thank you..." He looked over at Toris, taking in the flushed look on his face and the empty glasses in front of him. "Maybe you should wait a bit before your next drink; otherwise you're going to feel like some one ran you over with a tractor in the morning." He was still going to hurt, but Heracles was going to try to minimze the pain for him, just a little.

"But...but....but...." Toris stuttered like a broken record "What do I do in the meantime? Hit on you? Get fucked? Waiting is going to take foreverrrrrr" He complained, putting his head on the table, looking at Heracles "Ei, Heracles, why did Lovino dump you anyways? Kas kvailas, ką reikia padaryti" His speech quickly degraded back to Lithuanian, Toris barely noticed "It definitely is. He doesn't deserve you, mano draugas." He called for the bartender to get Heracles a drink in Lithuanian, causing a few minutes of confusion between the two people until Toris remembered this was California, and not Utena, and that to communicate, he needed to speak Anglų, not Lietuvos.

"...yeah, you definitely don't need anymore alcohol." He said, sharing a look with the bartender. If Toris was already drunk enough to forget to speak English, getting him drunker was just a bad idea. Heracles tried to ignore most of that little rant, not wanting to talk about Lovino. "Hit on me? Why would you do that?...And getting fucked while you're drunk is not very enjoyable, especially when you're a virgin."

"No idea, but you are pretty sexy" Toris said, feeling on the verge of passing out now, his vision getting blurry " 'n you're 'vailable now, but why should I care?" Toris thought for a few minutes, looking quite dazed, then looked at Heracles again, and in a single moment of soberness he said "This was a bad idea. You should have been getting drunk. I'm going to pass out now." And pass out he did, the doctor falling backwards off the barstool and onto the floor in a heap of unconciousness.

Heracles knelt down to Toris and checked to make sure he hadn't hit his head on anything as he had passed out, before picking the doctor up. He payed the bartender, apologizing for the commotion before leaving the bar, deciding to take Toris back to the Grecian's apartment. He didn't know where Toris had his keys, and Heracles had various hangover helpers at his apartment to ease the enevitable pain Toris was going to be in.
