This Will Not End Well...[Gil, Lovi and whoever else is tagging along]

This was going to be quite awesome. Finally, after weeks of persuasion, Tonio was going to take him to the bar. Granted they had to take along that grumpy Italian brat, but still, beer was beer. Just as long as the kid didn't get them caught with his loud mouth. As Gilbert pulled the shirt over his head, he allowed himself a small cackle of victory. It had been too long since he had been let loose into the public, he was going to make this night worth it. There was a slight problem, however. He must have lost weight during his stay at the hospital because the pants that Tonio had given him were too loose. They kept sliding off, but...that shouldn't be too much of a problem, right? He wasn't going to drink standing up anyway.

He exited the bathroom, tossing the hospital garb he had been wearing into a nearby bin before turning to his companions with a smirk. "Let's kick it!"

Ludwig was growing anxious. After his daily visit with Feliciano, he’d decided to stop by Gilbert’s room for a quick chat, only to discover that his brother was missing. And not only that, it appeared he’d been missing for quite a while. Was anyone watching the patients in this hospital? But then again, the state of the monitors denoted that he’d had help, so it was likely that Gilbert had received help from someone who worked at the hospital. Was this another escape attempt? Ludwig didn’t think he could take much more of this…

He was so absorbed in his worrying that he almost missed the small group heading for the doors, but he caught them in his peripheral vision just in time. There was no mistaking the silvery-white hair of one of the three; it was Gilbert. One of the other two appeared to be Lovino (the curl was a bit of a giveaway), and if Ludwig had to venture a guess at the third, he would have guessed Dr. Fernandez-Carriendo. It would make sense; he and Gilbert were friends, were they not?

Considering that Gilbert had two escorts, Ludwig suspected Gilbert was sneaking out for the drink he had been begging for. Ludwig didn’t really want to deny his brother a drink after all he’d been through, but it was against protocol, and Ludwig always followed protocol. So he quickened his pace and called out to the trio, “Where do you all think you’re going?”

A funeral? They'd better not be talking about his funeral. Not that he was going to have one, because he was totally not sick and there would be no reason to start planning a funeral for someone who wasn't going to die, right? Well, no matter! Even if he did die, it would be the most awesome funeral ever and they would be invited because even though they gave him a hard time about it, they still took him out for drinks. That made everything alright.

Since it didn't seem like either of them were going to actually move towards the door, Gilbert took it upon himself to head towards the exit. He didn't get very far, because after the first couple of steps, he heard the very distinct voice of his brother calling out to them. Well, that was bad. He had completely forgotten about Ludwig visiting him at night, he must have noticed that there was no one is his bed. With a cough, he turned around. There had to be something he could do, right? "Hey bro, there you are! Just in time too! Want to go get a drink?"
